Your MACE shop is live.Google can't see it.
If you run MACE Systems ERP, MACE runs your counter, your stock and your web shop. It does that job well. But on the MACE websites I've looked at, the same few SEO problems stop Google finding what you sell. They're fixable without a new website. This is SEO for MACE web shops, for established merchants and wholesalers.
MACE website SEO: five common problems
Google isn't told your products exist. The sitemap often lists a couple of pages, not the thousands of products and categories you stock. Google finds them slowly, or not at all.
Category pages with no words on them. A grid of product tiles and nothing else. Google has nothing to rank, so a national chain with a paragraph of copy beats you for your own range.
Every page says the same thing. Titles like "Home Page", or the title copied into the description on every page. Google can't tell your pages apart, so it shows none of them well.
The same page at more than one address. With and without www, or old links that still work. Google splits the credit between copies, or picks the wrong one.
No product data for Google or AI tools. No structured data for price, stock and brand. So no prices in Google results, nothing for Google Shopping, and nothing for ChatGPT to quote.
The chains are taking customers you should have
Your regulars know where you are. They'll keep coming.
The new builder in town, the DIYer doing a weekend job, the firm working outside its usual patch. They search on their phone and buy from whoever shows up. Right now that's usually a national chain.
You've got the stock, the prices and the reputation. You just don't have the shelf space on Google.
How I do SEO on a MACE web shop
Fix the plumbing first. Sitemap, indexing, duplicate addresses and page titles. Usually done in the first two weeks, inside the MACE settings you already have.
Give your categories something to rank. Short, useful copy on the category pages that make you money. Written for the trade, not stuffed with keywords.
Get your stock into Google Shopping and AI answers. Product data and a Merchant Centre feed from your live stock, so your prices show where buyers are already looking.
Win the map. Google Business Profile and a steady flow of reviews from your trade customers, so you show up next to the big chains locally.
I'm working with an electrical wholesaler on MACE right now, and I've done the same job for a family-run timber merchant on another platform.
MACE SEO questions
Can you do SEO on a MACE Systems website?
Yes. MACE web shops can rank well on Google. Most of the work is in settings and content you already control: page titles, category copy, the sitemap and product data. A few fixes need MACE's web team, and I write those up for them.
Can my MACE web shop show in Google Shopping?
Yes. Your MACE product data can feed Google Merchant Centre, so your products, prices and stock show in Google Shopping and the free listings.
Do I need a new website?
No. Everything here is fixed on the MACE site you already have. Same system, same stock, same orders. It just gets found.
Are you part of MACE Systems?
No. I'm independent. I work alongside your MACE setup and, where a fix needs their web team, I write it up clearly so it gets done.
How long before I see a difference?
The technical fixes land in the first couple of weeks. Rankings and orders usually start moving within three to six months.
Who is this for?
Established merchants and wholesalers with real stock, real premises and repeat customers, whose website has never been a priority.
Want to see what Google sees on your MACE site?
I'll record a free short video of your site and your local market. Who's showing up instead of you, and the first things I'd fix. No call, no pitch.
